That is our motto. Our home is the lively and enjoyable Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with the cities of Heidelberg, Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. We work as a young team in the kitchen (managed by Christian Kesselring) and in service (managed by Anke Rau) in the restaurant Die Ente in the SeeHotel Ketsch. Classic cuisine with modern, young elements – just like us. Working with top products and the unique ambience of our privately run house inspire us day after day and at the same time justify the honest claim to our craft. In addition, a young, warm team, a great group of guests with many regulars, a beautiful workplace, from the inside and from the outside, regular working hours…

We are looking for the next possible date:

Chef de Partie (m/f/d) & Commis de Cuisine (m/f/d)

You will find:

  • Working with friends in a young team with an informal culture and flat hierarchies
  • A long-term collaboration
  • Reliable rostering
  • Regulated working hours, digital time recording, time off & vacation planning for efficient and clear organization of your time
  • Sundays off, with only a few exceptions
  • Time for your loved ones over the Christmas holidays, New Year’s Eve and most public holidays

Restaurant winter break

We wish you a happy and healthy new year! Our duck is still on its winter break. We welcome our first restaurant guests on Tuesday, 7.1. (house guests only) or on Wednesday, 8.1.2025. We are available for table reservations and other requests during regular hotel opening hours – in person, by telephone and by e-mail.
