For this reason, training courses in the catering, hotel and kitchen sectors have recently been modernized and restructured.
We train with heart, expertise and ambition – always with the common goal of sending success-oriented young talent and passionate restaurateurs into the world. Depending on your talent and interests, you can choose between various apprenticeships in the dual system and a business studies course in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim.

different areas of an accommodation establishment. The core tasks are reservations and reception. Also in the Food &
Beverage, housekeeping, merchandise management and marketing are thoroughly trained. How Hofas keep track of the interfaces

Craftsmen of good taste:
Chefs are real culinary experts. The core of their tasks is the preparation of meals and menus. To do this, they learn all the important working techniques and interesting facts about food -
from meat and fish to plant-based cuisine and desserts. But cooking is by no means the end of the story, chefs are the professionals for all processes and planning
in and around the kitchen: purchasing, storage, menu creation are all part of the job. You organize the kitchen and work collegially with the service team
together. They always keep an eye on quality and guests' wishes.
Specialist for restaurants & event catering (m/f/d)
Service experts & event specialists:
Restaurant and event catering professionals always have the well-being of their guests in mind. You take on the role of host in the restaurant, at the bar and at all kinds of events. They master all processes, from seasonal and event-related preparation of the rooms to advising guests and the professional serving of drinks, food and menus to invoicing. They also always keep an eye on the organization and implementation of conferences, banquets and celebrations.

Design and maintenance of guest rooms. In restaurant service, the focus is on serving guests at the table and communicating with them.
Bachelor of Arts: Business Administration - Trade Fair, Congress & Event Management (m/f/d)

As creative minds with business administration and project management know-how, event managers turn an idea into a successful event. Whether a dream wedding, trade fair appearance, congress, sporting event, theater or concert - each sector has its own requirements, no two events are the same. What they all have in common is that they have to be planned, organized and executed down to the smallest detail. Always in view: the coordination of those involved, a plan B for all eventualities and the budget. So it's a really exciting job for organizational talents with strong nerves. The theoretical part of the course takes place at the DHBW Mannheim, as a practical partner we are looking for a student with previous knowledge of gastronomy.
